Nose Surgery Reviews

2 and a Half Months After Nose Surgery

Hello This is my review. A friend I hadn’t seen in a while showed up after getting nose surgery. They already had decent-looking features, but after rhinoplasty they looked completely transformed... So they became the object of envy among our friends. Despite my parents’ opposition, I persuaded them for days and days, and ended up getting surgery with septal cartilage and silicone at some hospital in the region where my friend had surgery. Even before surgery, people around me tried to stop me, saying my nose was pretty, and even the surgeon said I had a good-looking nose, so there was really no need to do it. But with the unrealistic greed that it might look a little better, I went ahead with the surgery. The result was a nose where only the tip was pulled out long and lifted upward, making my nostrils and philtrum look longer and giving me an artificial image. Before surgery, I showed the doctor photos of noses with the image I wanted, as well as my friend’s photos, but I ended up with a completely different nose. From the day the splint came off, I felt something was wrong, but the clinic kept changing what they said, saying it looked upturned because of swelling and that it would come down if I waited. So I waited, thinking I should just see how it goes, but now it has been over two months, almost three months, and nothing has changed. When I went to the clinic and confronted them, they admitted it did seem to have become like a woman’s nose and said we should do revision surgery after 6 months. I came back because getting angry and fighting with the clinic wouldn’t change anything, but every time I look in the mirror, I feel regret and guilt toward my parents, so I don’t even go outside and have been spending days and days in my room sighing and blaming myself. For anyone really thinking about rhinoplasty, please think again and again. Even if it turns out really well, you may have to live your whole life with a foreign-body sensation in your nose, anxiety, and discomfort, so unless you are prepared to accept all of that, I really want to discourage it... I should go to sleep before I get even more intrusive thoughts. Then, Everyone, stay strong
