I had revision surgery with my nasal bridge raised using 2 mm silicone, and my nasal tip done using ear cartilage and septal cartilage. I think the nasal tip comes out nicely when septal cartilage is used. If you have surgery using only ear cartilage, it's not hard on you and there's no pain, but if they touch the septal cartilage, it's rough, really extremely rough ㅠㅠ Still, the shape comes out prettier.
