Because it was eye surgery, I thought there would not be side effects and took it lightly. I never imagined ptosis correction could have side effects. I heard that ptosis correction is an extremely difficult surgery and has many side effects. If I had known beforehand, I would have only had double eyelid surgery It has been 2 years since I had ptosis correction, but I still feel a pulling sensation, and sometimes I get headaches because of that pulling sensation. I feel a little resentful as to why the doctor did not tell me about these side effects before surgery. And they had a long career too.. After epicanthoplasty, my under-eye aegyo-sal looked cut off, so I looked older than before surgery and my impression became much harsher. Unless your eyes are really far apart, I recommend not doing it.
Except in unusual cases, I recommend only getting double eyelid surgery, and I think thoroughly researching hospitals for a long time is the way to avoid revision surgery. In particular, I hope you do not meet a doctor who avoids responsibility by saying it will keep getting better even several years after surgery. I really felt that choosing a hospital that acts responsibly even after surgery is important.
