For my first surgery 15 years ago, I had general anesthesia, and for the second one, I was under sedation but woke up and had surgery while conscious! Now I want to use autologous costal cartilage for revision surgery Would it be better to do general anesthesia or sedation?? Of course, I'll go somewhere with an anesthesiologist! Places that prefer general anesthesia say that if I move around during sedation, something could happen while harvesting the autologous costal cartilage,, Places that mention sedation say there's no problem, that every doctor has different preferences and it's a difference in technique I'm curious how everyone did it and how many hours it took!
익명 I think mine took about two and a half hours? I did sedation. Since they tie down your arms and legs anyway, I don't think moving would matter much
