Short + low nose Planning to correct the nasal bridge and nasal tip (using costal cartilage, because my septum is small..) First surgery! ㅍㄹㅈ A clinic located right in the middle of the Sinnonhyeon intersection. Access was good, and the inside of the clinic was smaller than I expected. I didn’t designate a specific director, and they recommended a director who could do it at a low event price, so I had a consultation. Among the places I visited, this was the only one where I had to pay around 20,000 won to get a CT scan. The director and consultant were kind, and they answered the questions I was curious about well. Maybe because it was an event price, the price was quite low (about 800,000 won cheaper than other places). They just took my face photos with a tablet. But since it wasn’t a place I had researched much before going, I felt just so-so about it. But the price difference between donated costal cartilage and autologous costal cartilage wasn’t that big. ㅇㅇㅂ My consultation was reserved for 10, but I arrived about 30 minutes early. I was first in line waiting. It took about 20 minutes until I met the consultant, and maybe 1 hour until I met the director.. More and more people with appointments started pouring in.. Among the places I visited, the CT seemed very modern? and there were a lot of staff. I went into the room to see the director, and they explained everything kindly and well (it was the director I had designated). What was it, they showed me something like a 3D facial skeletal image.. and checked whether there were any areas that needed osteotomy, and they held my nose with a cotton swab and stretched it too. Other places hadn’t mentioned osteotomy, but this director was the only one who brought it up, so I somehow trusted them. (In the end, they said osteotomy wasn’t necessary.) The consultation was about 5 minutes, I think haha. It felt a bit hmm that the price was discounted by as much as 1.5 million won just with a review and same-day booking, but the director’s aesthetic goal was similar to mine, so I liked it. Here, donated and autologous cartilage were the same price. ㅇㅇㄷ My first impression as soon as I saw it was that I had come to the wrong place because it was such a huge hospital.. Honestly, I felt a bit resistant to it. After taking a CT, I waited about 20 minutes and went in to see the consultant. After a short consultation, I think I waited an hour and a half until I saw the designated director ;; They said the surgery before me was running a bit late, but what could I do.. (Honestly, because of all the waiting, the place I planned to go for lunch afterward hit break time, so I was annoyed ㄱ–) I had a consultation with the director, and I hadn’t known, but apparently they mainly do revision surgeries and difficult noses. They said this director usually doesn’t do primary surgeries unless specifically designated, so I thought they must be really good (honestly, this director’s aesthetic goal was the best). But a whole list? got added, like bulbous nose, nostril reduction, short-nose correction, and all sorts of things (this was when I first found out I had a bulbous nose). The price was the most expensive out of the 5 places. ㅁㅂ The consultant was very kind. She had the vibe of a neighborhood older sister. I had visited this place before because of eye surgery, so I paid a 30,000 won consultation fee, and I also designated the director for the visit. I had a CT scan, took face photos, and went in to see the director, and the consultation was detailed. I designated someone known for noses and mainly consulted about nasal tip materials and how much to raise the nasal bridge. The previous clinic had said I had a bulbous nose, so I asked if I really had a bulbous nose, and they said no. I was also debating nostril reduction, but they said I probably didn’t really need it, so I actually liked that more. The price wasn’t bad either, in the high 3 millions (based on donated costal cartilage). For autologous, they charged at least 1.5 million won more. ㅅㅇㅋ Honestly, an acquaintance was going for a nostril reduction consultation, so I booked one too, but hmm, I think this place is best if you only do nostril reduction and nothing else. It was the only place that didn’t take a CT at all (didn’t even mention it), and they didn’t explain the materials either. They just explained the line and only said they would make it pretty, so my trust dropped to rock bottom.. I’m still thinking about where to do it!
