On the day I went in to get Nose Beam + nostril lowering surgery, I had one last brief consultation. After that, I put my belongings in a locker, washed my face, gargled, cleaned my nose with cotton swabs, waited in the recovery room, and then went into the operating room. Then they trimmed my nose hairs... I think I got an IV and was put under sedation, but maybe the sedation worked too well. They said I would wake up after local anesthesia, but when I woke up, the surgery was already over and they were taping my nose. Thanks to that, I had absolutely no discomfort during the surgery. After the surgery, they supported me and took me to the recovery room, and once I felt okay on my own, I just gathered my things and came out. Then they gave me a prescription, cotton, gauze, an ice pack, and a paper with post-procedure precautions written on it.
They said I could remove the taping 2 days after the procedure, but I removed it on day 3. I thought there was no swelling, and while my overall face wasn’t swollen, the swelling in my nose gradually went down, so my nose developed more contour(?). During daily life, it barely hurt, but it did hurt if I touched my nose. Now, except for the nasal tip, nothing hurts. I think the stitches from the sutured procedure area all fell out about a week after surgery! So far, I’m very satisfied. But it’s extremely natural and the change isn’t big, so I met my older female cousin and younger cousin, whom I see often, and no one noticed. I tried using a nose corrector for the first time, but maybe because I have a bulbous nose, it pressed too hard, hurt, and felt like my blood circulation was being cut off I’m not sure whether I used it correctly or not..
