Even before orthodontic treatment my teeth weren’t that bad, but I started because I was bothered by the left canine.. After consultation, they said I had a slight malocclusion, so I think it took a bit longer to fix that. At the beginning they expected about 8 months, but it ended up taking about 2 and a half years to finish. Even that was because I wanted to be done quickly, and the doctor said I could leave the braces on longer, but I just took them off I still wear the fixed retainer inside, and the removable retainer only when I happen to remember. It’s been about 7 years? and it doesn’t seem like my teeth have gone back to how they were..!
