I started orthodontic treatment because of malocclusion, and from the consultation at the dental clinic they told me from the beginning that black triangles would form because of my tooth shape. It’s been 1 year now, and as expected, black triangles formed between all of my upper and lower teeth, so I can’t even smile broadly. I’m thinking of filling them in with ceramics after the orthodontic treatment ends. My teeth seem to be lining up neatly, but I think orthodontic treatment as an adult means you have to accept side effects too. Orthodontic treatment is best when you do it as young as possible..
