It feels like it’s been about two years since I finished orthodontic treatment. I thought orthodontics would have no side effects at all, but there are side effects like having to wear retainers for life and weakened gums, and just like a face that has had plastic surgery, teeth that have been orthodontically treated can show it too. Still, I’m glad my bunny teeth went in, but from time to time when teeth overlap, I think black triangle phenomenon happens. The author got it on the lower teeth, but since it can’t be seen, it’s fine; if it happened on the upper teeth, it would probably be very stressful.
