I had rhinoplasty 13 years ago, but as time passed, I felt a bit unsatisfied with the shape, so I had a revision. My nose was originally short, so this time I also wanted correction, and I asked them to recommend a straight-to-slightly-curved line that would suit my face well. I thought autologous costal cartilage would be better than donated rib cartilage, so I had surgery with autologous costal cartilage. Most importantly, I wanted it to look natural without that overly artificial plastic-surgery look. Fortunately, the result came out the way I wanted, so I’m satisfied! Right after surgery, there was some swelling and bruising, but it went down at a decent pace, and the line came out exactly as I had imagined, so I feel good every time I look in the mirror. If you’re considering revision surgery, I really think choosing the clinic is important.
