I had it done at Seoul UC Dental Clinic, and I had protruding front teeth, a narrowed dental arch, an incorrect anterior bite, and my molars were tilted inward~ I had 4 teeth extracted, 4 screws placed, and 3 bands on, and I used a palatal expander for over 6 months.
In the end, it was completed in 1 year and 8 months, and my teeth turned out very natural and pretty. Before, I used to go to the dentist about once every 6 months because of cavities, but after orthodontic treatment, I haven’t had any cavity treatment even once.
Of course, there are downsides too. Even now, if I don’t wear my retainer for a few days while sleeping, it feels like my teeth are shifting. It does feel like the areas where my teeth are planted have become weaker.
Please think about the pros and cons, and what you are willing to give up and gain before doing it.....
