Review at 2 months and half a month? after double-jaw surgery

It’s been about two months since I had double-jaw surgery. At first, before surgery, I was very worried and searched and looked into it a lot, but when the surgery actually happened, I fell asleep once and woke up, and it was over. In my case, facial swelling wasn’t severe, and recovery was fast, so I healed quickly, but maybe because my immunity is weak, inflammation flared up midway and I had a hard time. ㅠㅠ What was strange is that they say sensation usually can return up to a year later, and it may not return completely at all, but in my case, maybe because my recovery is fast or because the surgeon who operated on me has golden hands.. sensation and swelling came back unbelievably quickly. Because of that, I don’t know if it was part of healing quickly, but symptoms commonly thought of as double-jaw surgery side effects, such as spasms or neuralgia-like pain, were extremely severe. All day long, my muscles would spasm, almost my entire face hurt, and even just wind touching it caused pain like my flesh was being sliced with a knife. But after a little over a month passed, the pain gradually weakened and disappeared, and it felt like sensation returned extremely quickly in proportion to how painful it had been then. It’s now about two and a half months, and except for the lower jaw area below the lips and around the lower lip, the sensation is completely the same as before surgery. The lower jaw and lower lip also just feel slightly like the anesthesia hasn’t fully worn off? I think about 90% has returned. (Even now, when time passes and I suddenly check, it feels like the sensation is becoming clearer.) The doctor also said my recovery was very fast and told me that around 7-8 weeks I could eat most foods. Double-jaw surgery is a really difficult and major surgery, but according to some doctors, if it is accurately diagnosed, carefully examined, a surgical plan is made, and the surgery is performed exactly according to that plan, it is not a surgery that produces major side effects. They said surgeries where the frequency of side effects is higher or even the operating surgeon has difficulty knowing the result are surgeries like rhinoplasty or ptosis correction. However, even so, I would want to discourage double-jaw surgery for purely cosmetic purposes. My surgery also had cosmetic purposes, of course, but functional issues were also significant, which is why I decided to have the surgery. If you have malocclusion and need functional improvement as well, rather than a purely cosmetic purpose, I think you can look carefully for a hospital and not be too afraid.
