I got orthodontic treatment because one of my lower teeth grew in crooked. Because my jaw and face width are naturally narrow, extracting 4 teeth would have been difficult, so I only had one lower tooth extracted. Because of that, the dental midline of my upper and lower teeth is different lol. Still, I finished orthodontic treatment in just 1 year, and since my lower teeth don’t show when I talk, I lived without feeling much discomfort. Even now, I think getting orthodontic treatment was a good decision.
