I have one fewer tooth than other people, and I didn’t want to go through a long orthodontic period, so it’s been about a year since I started non-extraction orthodontics!! Instead, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed~ They try to move things in as much as possible into the space left by the wisdom teeth, but I had somewhat protruding bunny teeth and a lot of pointed teeth, so the spaces between my teeth were very visible. Now they’ve moved in a lot and it feels like the orthodontics are working!! At first it hurt a lot and I couldn’t eat, but now it doesn’t hurt even after I go to the dentist.. And above all, I was hoping my jaw would get a little slimmer, but it hasn’t become dramatically slimmer. I guess that’s because I did non-extraction.. And the biggest downside is.. my nasolabial folds have gotten so noticeable that I’m thinking about getting nasolabial fold filler when I finish! I think I really need to research orthodontics a lot before doing it!! I also went around to about 6 places, and I even heard someone tell me to get a nonsensical laminate treatment..
