I had my first surgery redone here as an AS revision Because my nose looked like it was pulled to one side, and the silicone was showing From the front it looks straight, but it appears pulled to one side The side profile was very natural and I was very, very satisfied What I was unhappy with was that the bridge seemed too crooked. Rather than crooked, it was straight but shifted to one side. The director admitted it and did revision surgery for me, but only the tip came back, and the bridge stayed the same At first, even though I had a CT scan, they didn’t say anything about a crooked nose or asymmetry, so I thought maybe it would turn out fine, but after surgery I heard about the asymmetry more than ten times.. At other hospitals, even if there is asymmetry, they supposedly ask whether you want the silicone placed in the anatomical direction or slightly shifted, but this didn’t seem to be intentional. I didn’t know any better and thought since a person is doing it, mistakes can happen, so I got AS again here ^^^^^
For the revision surgery, they said they would open the nose and decide what to do, and because the asymmetry was severe they even did osteotomy, but one side became sunken I really don’t like it. It’s not really sunken, but the silicone is shifted, and with the osteotomy the imbalance looks even worse
This hospital may not suit people with large noses It seems like the place for people with small, slim noses and no asymmetry who want a natural, pretty line In the end, it’s still slanted and it hurts Sigh
ㅡ 2-week follow-up treatment What they did was really awful. I went for a follow-up and they said they wouldn’t take a CT scan here, so I went to another ENT clinic, got a CT scan, confirmed that the silicone was tilted, and even after the osteotomy the nasal bone was still tilted and the asymmetry wasn’t corrected. Did they intentionally insert the silicone tilted, or if not, couldn’t they have explained it properly? Then I would have at least accepted it and not gotten revision surgery at another hospital. They left out all the explanation from start to finish and didn’t even seem willing to do anything, and when I asked why the silicone was inserted off-center, they said it looked straight to their eyes and pushed hard on the bridge of my nose with their hand. If it looks straight, then don’t push on it. I thought my nose was going to break. They kept blaming the shadows, but the shadow is there because it’s shifted, right? If it had been inserted correctly at the very top point, shouldn’t the shadow also have appeared symmetrically? My mom and friends all say they can see that it was inserted off-center, but maybe only the director couldn’t see it.....??? And the nursing assistants? therapists? gossiping outside about my guardian, lol, I can hear everything I wish the desk staff would at least respond with a little more sincerity
