Seomyeon Double-Eyelid Consultation Review

Since peak season is coming soon, many people will probably be looking for clinics in this community, so I am posting this in case it helps even a little! On the first day, I visited [Clinic A], [Clinic B], [Clinic C], and [Clinic D], in that order.

• [Clinic A] • Consultation fee: No Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Non-incisional natural adhesion + medial canthoplasty with fat removal

I did not wait long. I visited at 10 a.m., though. As expected from a famous clinic, there were quite a few people there even in the morning. I went straight in for the consultation, and they set the line higher than I had imagined. I do prefer a slightly lower line, so the first line they designed felt higher than expected. They firmly told me that I could definitely have natural adhesion without needing an incision. Since I did not mind either method, I received the consultation based on natural adhesion. They said the inner front area was somewhat blocked, so medial canthoplasty would also be necessary.

→ Afterwards, I consulted with the coordinator and was given the price!

• [Clinic B] • Consultation fee: No Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Non-incisional natural adhesion + buried-suture method

The wait at [Clinic B] was really long, as expected from a famous clinic. I think I waited about 40–50 minutes. I first spoke with the coordinator, then the director came in. He looked slightly tired and seemed to be trying to move things along quickly. *It had a bit of a factory-style feeling! Still, he kept recommending natural adhesion rather than an incision and said we should try it first even if it eventually loosened. I considered durability important too, but the first line he designed was not the look I wanted. He did not recommend canthoplasty!

The coordinator was very kind, though ^^

• [Clinic C] • Consultation fee: Yes (11,000 won) Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Incisional method + ptosis correction

I visited because there were quite a lot of reviews about eye surgery there, including many good ones. I also liked that it was run by a single director, and the wait was short, about five minutes. I first spoke with the coordinator and then the director. I was surprised because he designed exactly the line I wanted .. . He said my desired line could also be done with the buried-suture method, but durability was important to me, so I consulted about the incisional method 📝 He said both the incisional and buried-suture methods were possible. He clearly explained which points would work and which would not. After looking at my eyes, he even asked why I wanted double-eyelid surgery lololol *If you want a natural line, I think it might be worth visiting once!

• [Clinic D] • Consultation fee: No Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Incisional method + ptosis correction

There was hardly any wait here! The consultation proceeded in the order: coordinator → director → coordinator. The director simply designed the line as I wanted and said it should work that way, so the consultation ended quickly! *He seemed busy because the clinic was run by one director T_T

As an aside, I really liked the coordinator’s consultation! At other clinics, I was told the inner front area was blocked and was recommended canthoplasty, but here they strongly told me not to do it. They said I should not have canthoplasty even if I went to another clinic!! Looking at my eyes, they said both the length and width were sufficient, so there was no need to open them further. It felt like they were being truly honest. They said it would definitely be best to keep things natural, which made me trust them.

On the second day, I visited [Clinic E] and [Clinic F], in that order!

• [Clinic E] • Consultation fee: No Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Incisional method + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty

I consulted in the order director → coordinator. When I went in for the director’s consultation, he suddenly started talking about lower-eyelid fat repositioning .. I thought he was recommending an additional procedure, but it turned out the information staff had written it down incorrectly lololol. So I asked again about double-eyelid surgery, and it seemed the director’s preferred style and my desired style were somewhat different! The line was designed in a slightly D-shaped form .. They also recommended upper canthoplasty. After seeing a photo of the eyes I wanted, the coordinator said it would be much better to proceed according to my preferred aesthetic rather than raising the line completely .. //

• [Clinic F] • Consultation fee: No Doctor consultation: Yes Recommendation: Incisional method + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty

There was a bit of a wait at [Clinic F] too! I first consulted with the director, who designed the line as I wanted and answered every question one by one while continuing to adjust the line .. ✒️ Then I spoke with the coordinator, who really emphasized upper canthoplasty. They said it would be difficult to achieve the line I wanted without canthoplasty .. !! Since the distance between my eyes is not particularly wide, they said we should do upper canthoplasty rather than medial canthoplasty, but also said that even with upper canthoplasty, a little medial canthoplasty might be necessary! *This was the most expensive of all the clinics I consulted with!

That is the end of my consultation review ~ If you want any information, leave a comment!
