I’m a mother of a mischievous 23-month-old boy. It had already been two years since childbirth, and my baby was nearly two, but my belly fat still looked just like that of a 7–8-month pregnant woman...
I tried dieting with exercise and meal plans, but my belly fat really wouldn’t go away. Since I had no clothes that fit my waist, I wore elastic-waist pants every day, and at some point I started to hate myself. So I decided to invest in myself and went ahead with abdominal liposuction!
I didn’t visit many places. I only went to two clinics that were said to be well known. I chose the one that felt safer. On the day of surgery, the doctor examined me and measured the thickness of the fat by ultrasound, so everything was ready.
I thought, “I’ve even given birth, so what is there to be afraid of?” But once I entered the operating room and they applied disinfectant to my body, I got a little nervous T_T. The nurses reassured me and made me comfortable, so I felt more at ease. After sleeping for a while, the surgery was over.
I was discharged the same day. The pain was slightly worse on the second day than on the day of surgery, but I could still manage daily life! Since I’m still swollen, I can’t tell the exact contour yet, but my lower abdomen definitely seems flatter.
I’ll work hard on my diet and exercise and keep managing it. Swelling is my biggest concern, so I keep looking up one- and two-month progress photos in this community. I’m sure many people here have the same concerns as I do, so I’ll record my progress carefully too. Thank you for reading!
