Because the L-shaped silicone pressed down on the nasal tip, it kept going lower and lower, and anyone could see it didn’t look like I’d had surgery at all, and it became way too low. I knew I’d have to get surgery someday, but I was scared and didn’t have time to go around for hospital consultations, so I kept worrying about it, then after a consultation, when the doctor said they would lift my nasal tip, I got swept up by it. I set a date and had the surgery, but the nose shape, falling in a straight line from the glabella to the nasal tip, isn’t pretty, and they used ear cartilage, but it’s pointy, pointy, pointed like a bird’s beak. If the shape were pretty, I’d put up with it, but first of all, the shape isn’t pretty. The height? Well, compared to before, it’s not like it got extremely higher either. All the cartilage shows through. The cartilage looks like it’s about to pierce through. Surgery is hard. The money was wasted too. Every day I’m anxious, protecting my nose while going about daily life, being careful it doesn’t get caught in a door, being careful not to bump it, and being careful the nasal septum doesn’t collapse.
