I had nose surgery 7 years ago. I had the surgery because I was concerned about a crooked nose and a slight hump. I didn’t have osteotomy; they slightly shaved the hump, and because they said the bone could grow back, they covered the nasal bridge area with 1 mm silicone. For the nasal tip, they used septal cartilage and ear cartilage. But not long after the surgery, the thinly placed silicone became crooked. I just lived with it thinking it was still better than my previous nose, but at some point my nose actually started looking more unnatural, so after thinking about it continuously, I finally booked the hospital for removal surgery in early February. When I was young, I didn’t know much and didn’t research much, and had the surgery at a local place near my house, but that hospital is already gone....
