For what I felt during surgery, I think you can refer to the post I wrote before. (The price is in the previous post!)
What I want to say is, as I mentioned before, if you want something glamorous or celebrity-like (the kind of glamorous, pretty nose everyone brings in when they want surgery like Oh Yeon-seo, Shin Se-kyung, or Irene), I don’t recommend it. But honestly, everyone wants a pretty nose like Shin Se-kyung or Oh Yeon-seo. You get surgery to have a pretty nose.. I felt that way too, so I am a bit disappointed. I’m satisfied with my side profile, but even that is because I like the line when looking at it from a 90-degree angle. Honestly, when taking photos or meeting people, you’re not going to stand there at a 90-degree angle like Asura Baekjak. I think the angles people usually see most are the front or about 35 degrees (the angle you use for selfies), and for those parts I’m about 75% satisfied. Still, I think they made it look natural and harmonious to suit my face, so that part is good.
But then again, to get a frontal effect, the nasal bridge would probably have to be raised a lot, and the director said that later on it could show through. I also think it would show through + on a broad face, if only the nasal bridge is high, it might look a bit out of place, so I’m just living with it. Nose surgery also hurt less than double-eyelid surgery (they say it varies by person, but for me it really didn’t hurt at all. It only stung a little when the stitches were removed), there’s no discomfort at all in daily life, and I like that the parts that could be improved from my old nose have been improved. What I’m most satisfied with is that my columella was a bit recessed, and they put fascia there, so I think the columella looks just right and pretty. (When I look at noses these days, they only focus on the nasal bridge or nose line, and styles where the columella is short are not my preferenceㅜ)
On the last visit, if you want to see the surgery video, they show it to you, and I saw everything, including the silicone being inserted and the fascia being placed. Shadow doctors are a big issue these days, but you don’t need to worry about that. They do a little sedation anesthesia and then operate while you remain conscious, so you can hear the director’s voice the whole time during surgery.
I also like the shape of my nostrils (it sounds weird to say it.. but you’ll know what I mean. I hate triangular nostrilsㅜ The asymmetry is also just about the same as my nostrils before, so it doesn’t bother me at all), and my nasal bridge isn’t crooked, so I’m living satisfied.
To put it simply, if you want it done naturally in a direction that improves your previous nose, I recommend it. If your original nose looks like mine, or if you have a bulbous nose and want a completely newly pretty nose like Shin Se-kyung, Irene, Oh Yeon-seo, or Im Bora, I don’t recommend it. Still, if you ask why I chose this hospital, there’s no guarantee that if I went to another hospital, it would turn out beautifully like a celebrity nose, and if silicone is placed high without considering the original nasal bridge, I thought it might show through later or cause side effects. I thought that at least if I went to this hospital, it would be average or better, and I liked the surgical method and trusted the director’s experience.
Lastly, to add a little.. I saw this in another person’s review before too, They have a lot of customers here, so I think it would be good to hire one more person at the information desk. I don’t know if the hospital will see this even if I write it.. At this hospital, two nurses handle consultation + phone calls + surgical assistance (there are a total of three people including the director). Even while I was having surgery, one nurse was in the operating room taking reservation calls.. Well, the surgery was done by the other nurse + the director, and the person answering calls was probably in a really auxiliary role (right..?), but still, emotionally, while someone is having nose surgery, hearing consultation reservation calls being taken and KakaoTalk notifications going off felt a bit uncomfortableㅜ They have a lot of customers, so I think it would be good if they operated things like the consultation system more systematically. Also, in other reviews people say the nurses are very kind, but I don’t know if it’s because I’m a bit young or what, but for me they were just average to below average.. sometimes speaking casually in the middle.. The director was friendly. Everyone, make a good choice!
