I was told there’s no such thing as a complete cure for TMJ disorders. I had already had TMJ correction once with a splint 4 or 5 years ago, and I had been living without any particular discomfort, but starting last September I began feeling jaw pain again, so in December I got a new splint made and am currently undergoing treatment. The pain that appeared in September is definitely gone, but my teeth grinding, lifestyle habits, posture, and so on still haven’t all been corrected, so the treatment isn’t finished I’ve never had any side effects from a splint, and when I first got one about 5 years ago, I wore it for 6 months and my mouth opening definitely increased. I’m posting this review in case there are people like me who have TMJ problems. For reference, I recommend going to a hospital that specializes in TMJ treatment.
