I had class III malocclusion, severe asymmetry, and a protruding lower jaw. After going around to several hospitals, I was told surgery-first treatment was possible, so I had it done at a private hospital in Busan. I didn’t want to do orthodontic treatment first and then surgery, so I think it was fortunate. For the two-jaw surgery, both the upper and lower jaws were done with SSRO. The cost differed by almost double compared with a university hospital, and there are cases of medical accidents at university hospitals too.. It was really hard until 2 weeks after surgery, but after that, as time passed, it got better. To everyone scheduled for surgery, I hope your surgeries go well!
