Before <Before surgery> Before <Before surgery> After <After surgery> After <22 after surgery><X-ray photo!!> I had double-jaw surgery for an open bite, and it has now been 5 months. Looking back, time really... went by so fast, it’s surprising! Now even the residual swelling has gone down a lot, and when I compare it with old photos from before surgery, it feels like my face has become half the size haha No matter how I think about it, isn’t this a miracle ㅠㅠ I’m writing this on mobile, so I don’t know how to arrange the photos, so I’ll just write the text for now!! The pre-surgery photos were from only a year and a half ago, but they look so~ different from now that I was a bit shocked. A lot hahaha Honestly, even if I changed, my eyes and nose are the same, so I wondered if I could really change that dramatically, but once the lower face changed, I heard so many times that my overall vibe had changed, and personally I’m really satisfied too, so I feel like getting the surgery was the right decision 100 times over. To the point that I wonder why I worried about it for so long,, Right now, because of coronavirus, classes haven’t even started, I should hurry back to school, wear spring clothes, take lots more pretty photos, and go out to have fun... I’ve gained quite a bit of confidence now, so I feel like I can do anything, and since the residual swelling seems almost all gone now, putting on makeup is fun too ㅠㅠㅠ These days I’m happy because I can eat steak and a lot of meat that I couldn’t eat before!! When I think back to the early days after surgery, I wonder how I endured it... But now I’ve become so comfortable and used to it that those days feel vague, and the time has come when my post-surgery face feels like my original face haha hahaha I’m so happy!!
For the last photo, I took it after going for a progress check and getting permission from the director haha Because of COVID, it feels like it had been a long time since I went to the hospital ㅠㅠㅠ Phew, for two weeks after surgery I really went so often I went, had my progress checked, and also received orthodontic treatment. Since I’m from out of town, I took the bus and traveled a full 4 hours there and back... sob sob A mask and hand sanitizer are must-have items!! Everyone, please be careful of COVID.
