A Month and a Half After Surgery

I was going to write a post with photos at the two-month mark, but since I suddenly came in, I’m writing to reduce everyone’s anxiety and tell you not to worry because I’m doing very well after removal! I had surgery on July 23, and from a state where I had silicone, septal extension with septal cartilage + donated costal cartilage, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, soft tissue removal, and alar reduction, my septum was too weak, so only part of the septum was left in a splint-like form and everything else was removed! My original natural nose was short and upturned, so one hospital even told me that if I had surgery, my nose would become very upturned and the columella would curl in a lot, so I was really scared. But now, a month later, maybe the contraction period hasn’t come yet, but my nose is not upturned and doesn’t feel tight, so I’m living without thinking about my nose at all. The shape of my nose came out exactly between my surgical nose and my original nose. Since I didn’t dislike the shape of my surgical nose, I’m satisfied!! Of course, if I try to find flaws, I can see them, but now I’m trying to love the nose I’ve been given a lot and look only at the pretty and good points.
