Surgical nose / Removal nose
Hello~ I received a lot of help from this community, and I had a complete removal on Saturday, so it has been 3 days now haha Since I received so much help, I wanted to help others too, so I’m leaving a review
February 2020: hump reduction, silicone, septal support strut, and nasal tip with septal cartilage
My natural nose did not show my nostrils much, but after surgery my nostrils became upturned, and I was very stressed because my image changed, so I regretted it as soon as I had it done.. A foreign-body sensation from the septal cartilage and the nasal tip cartilage showing through, headaches from the pressure caused by the silicone, an artificial look, the silicone and cartilage shifting to the right, and the alar cartilage gradually protruding inside my left nostril. Also, the starting point between my eyebrows was high and a thick piece of silicone had been inserted, but the nasal tip could not be raised much, so from the side, it dropped straight down in a line. My original nose had a lot of columella showing, but during the first surgery, without me knowing, they cut the alar cartilage, so my columella disappeared completely
I regretted the surgery for many reasons, and whenever I had time, I came into this community to look for hospitals for removal. After going to consultations at a few places, I went to the place I felt drawn to, booked right away, and had the surgery
Closed approach complete removal of silicone and septal cartilage + cartilage repositioning The surgery time was 40 minutes, so it ended quickly After the surgery, they showed me the things that had been inside my nose, and I felt so relieved hahaha Today, as soon as I got the splint removed and saw it, the area between my eyebrows was swollen like Avatar, but my nostrils had come down a lot, so I’m so happy ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ When viewed from below, my nose was bent to the side, but after I contacted the clinic and got it corrected, it became quite a lot better (If you look at my post, there are photos) It had been slightly crooked since the first surgery, and since this is something I have to accept because the alar cartilage was cut, I’m trying to keep my mind at ease~
For everyone considering removal, I hope you go to many hospital consultations, find a clinic that suits you, and have a successful removal haha If you have any questions, send me a private message and I’ll reply as much as I can haha
