Before before before after after after Hello!! I had double jaw surgery and 3 types of facial contouring (cheekbones, front chin, square jaw) at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on June 21, and now that it has been 3 months since the surgery, I’m back with another review! Recently, I went to the clinic, took photos and X-rays, and checked my progress with the director. They said the bones are healing well and about 80% of the swelling has gone down!?! Most of my sensation has come back too!!! I had been eating hard or tough foods pretty freely, so I’m relieved to hear the bones are healing well...><
Honestly, I don’t have any discomfort eating now. So if I want to eat something, I just eat everything without worrying, and the weight I had lost a lot of after surgery has come back... haha So it felt a bit disappointing that I had made my jawline slim through surgery, but my jawline was getting buried in fat I looked into facial contour injections, but I wasn’t sure if it was okay to get them, so I asked during my progress check. They said it was okay! But they did recommend exercise more... hahaha I need to work out hard...
Before double jaw surgery, my asymmetry was severe, so no matter how much I dressed up my features, it felt more strange than pretty... No matter how beautifully you plate food on a strangely shaped plate, it doesn’t mean much, right? That was exactly how it felt... So I couldn’t really enjoy dressing up and was always busy just trying to cover things, but after surgery, I gained confidence and started wanting to dress up, so I even got double eyelid surgery!
Now that my broad face has become smaller, everything looks more compact and balanced, so I think I finally understand what it means to enjoy dressing up haha It’s like when the plate gets smaller, even if the amount of food is the same, it looks full on the plate!
Now I often hear that my face has gotten smaller and that I look cuter, but even when I openly say I had double jaw and facial contouring surgery, people say my face doesn’t look surgically done. It feels natural but the effect is definitely there, so I’m really satisfied bb But since they said another 20% of the swelling will go down, that means my face will only get smaller from here haha so I’m looking forward to it a little more!
Double jaw and facial contouring were major surgeries, but I really have no regrets, so even if I went back in time, I think I would have surgery at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery without hesitation! For those considering double jaw and facial contouring, I think it would be good to get a consultation at Y at least once! Surgery is something that should be decided carefully, but before surgery, during the consultation with the director, they honestly and plainly pointed out which areas would improve and to what extent. Now, looking back at 3 months post-op, it improved exactly as the director said it would haha I’m glad I had surgery with someone who honestly told me only the necessary information without falsehood...
