Day 8 ❤️ It’s the day after removing the nasal packing. I’m grateful every day that I can breathe through my nose again. I slept eight uninterrupted hours, my sense of taste is back, food makes me happy, and my headaches are gone, so I almost forget I had surgery lol. From now on it’s a real battle with swelling, so I need to focus on reducing it. I have a family wedding in two weeks, so I’m taking New Bein plus Danggui Sosan liquid and walking for 30 minutes each morning and evening.
Day 9: Now clear runny mucus keeps flowing, and a lot of boogers build up, which is uncomfortable Still better than having packing in, though. I’m basically back to everyday life, and apart from the swelling there’s almost no pain, so my daily diary entries have decreased a lot. I still check my frontal swelling and side profile every day haha. I can’t take the mirror out of my hand lol.
From day 10 onward, everyday life is completely possible lol, and I’ve been busy catching up on housework and work, so I don’t have the energy to write reviews anymore… haha.
Hi everyone. I’m back with a two-week review because I was so grateful for everyone’s interest in my day-7 review. After removing the packing, everyday life was totally manageable, so I disappeared while catching up on chores and work. From the front, my nose is still a bit bulky, but people often call this the “third nose.” I think it looks almost like my original nose. It’s a little sad, but thinking that it suits my face best makes me feel somewhat better. I still haven’t fully adjusted whenever I look in the mirror. I lived with my surgery-altered nose for almost 11 years, but it is very comfortable now lol.
People I know who knew I had the entire implant removed say there is no major change in my appearance except that the tip looks wider from the front. Even people close to me who do not pay much attention to faces didn’t notice at all. Thanks for reading! Everyone having surgery after reading this, I hope yours goes wonderfully ❤️ Good luck, everyone ^.*
