1 year of orthodontic treatment, 3 years of retention

I had orthodontic treatment at a dental clinic that an acquaintance of my dad goes to. Since I had to go even when I was in high school, I wanted somewhere close by, but I ended up going somewhere that took over 40 minutes just by subway,, My dad’s acquaintance said they were a regular there and that they would give me a discount, but compared with friends around me who were getting braces, it wasn’t a cheap price, and their cavity management wasn’t very good either.
