I haven’t had many procedures, so I’m writing a review about orthodontic treatment,, I had it done outside Seoul, so I won’t disclose the clinic information. Before orthodontic treatment, I had a protruding mouth, with my front teeth sticking out, so I needed braces. I think the orthodontic process was harder than I expected. I had to wear an appliance in my mouth all day, and having to remove the orthodontic appliance before and after meals also made me pay attention to hygiene. And because I had the orthodontic appliance in, there were uncomfortable aspects from constantly being aware of it inside my mouth. Still, after orthodontic treatment, my protruding mouth was corrected, so I think I was quite satisfied. My teeth also became aligned. The disappointing part is that after finishing orthodontic treatment, I didn’t properly wear my retainer, so my teeth went back to how they used to be. Now that I know they can shift back, I’m diligently wearing my retainer, but I think it would be good for anyone planning orthodontic treatment to know that you have to keep wearing your retainer!
