Regardless of front or back, my eyes were just extremely small, so I wanted to make them much bigger. When I went for a consultation, they recommended medial canthoplasty, upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty. Since my goal was simply to make my eyes bigger, I had everything done at once, lol. It has already been over a year since surgery.
I work, so I had no time to research clinics. I asked a friend to tell me about a clinic if she knew anyone who had had canthoplasty, and got information from her cousin, then went to Siseon for a consultation.
They recommended full canthoplasty and explained each procedure in detail. My notes say that the lateral and lower canthoplasty are fixed to the periosteum so they do not reattach, while the medial and upper canthoplasty are adjusted in angle so that the lacrimal lake is not too exposed.
I also remember the consultation being fairly long. They were not the type to give a cursory consultation. After surgery, swelling worried me more than the scars, so I went to the clinic every weekend for two months for care. Perhaps because of that, I recovered quickly and lived with the shape almost fully settled from early on.
My eyes became really big, and the shape changed to something like a crescent, somewhat resembling Park Bo-young's eye shape. Personally, I am satisfied, haha. Since they look pretty.
Only now do my eyes, nose, and mouth seem to come together properly, so I wish I had gotten the canthoplasty sooner.
