I went for a revision rhinoplasty consultation because even after surgery, I still had a strong bulbous-nose look. The director looked at my nose and immediately said that my nasal bridge seemed low compared with my current facial proportions, and that the bulbous-nose correction at the nasal tip did not seem to have been done properly. He said that with this much basic columella present, even with revision surgery the columella would not be cut away and the bulbous nose could be corrected nicely. He said that since a 3 had been placed in the nasal bridge, we should raise it to a 4, and for the nasal tip, if I had a desired look, he would shape it accordingly. He also said I could show photos of the look I wanted, which surprised me. The consultation was detailed, and it felt like he was looking not only at the nose but at the overall facial proportions. He also seemed to catch the parts I wanted well, so I was satisfied with the consultation.
