A lot of people around me, including me, have had orthodontic treatment, but the issues are (if I only talk about the cosmetic ones) losing volume around the nose so the nasolabial folds get deeper, the mouth going in too much and making you look like an old woman, and the lips rolling inward and becoming thinner. Thankfully, I met a good doctor, so I think it was really, really good that I did not have extractions, and I am very grateful that when I said I would get laminates because orthodontic treatment was bothersome, the doctor refused to do it.
