A dorsal hump was a huge insecurity for me. I lost count of how many times I had filler, plus Hiko... But anyone with a hump will understand that it means you already have some bridge height. After filler made my nose higher, I also had forehead filler several times because having only the nose higher looked odd. But finally, I’m getting rhinoplasty. I had it with Dr. Cha Myeong-gyu, who asked whether I had done anything else because my nose looked pinched, but I couldn’t remember clearly. He said we needed to dissolve the filler first to assess it properly, so I dissolved it and returned for another visit. He shaped the nose while saying we should raise it to match the tip, and I liked it enough to schedule surgery. Everyone says the period before removing the splint is very difficult in their reviews, and I felt the same. Even breathing with my nose blocked was so hard. But after the splint came off, it got better. The swelling went down well too, haha. Even though it’s still swollen, I like my nose now. My friends say it looks slimmer and sharper than before. Most of all, I’m free from filler stress now, haha. Please don’t get filler—have rhinoplasty. I even asked about forehead fat grafting when I went to have the splint removed, haha. Surgery really seems better than procedures.
