Originally, I had everything: malocclusion, protruding mouth, and even a gummy smile. It was a total mess But now that the extraction spaces have almost all closed, my teeth have become straighter and my mouth has gone in quite a lot. In the case of the protruding mouth, I wouldn’t say I’m 100% satisfied, but compared to before orthodontic treatment, there has been quite a change!! However, for the gummy smile, the cause wasn’t really a dental issue to begin with, but was more affected by other factors like philtrum length, so honestly I barely felt any before-and-after difference At first, I worried quite a lot about whether or not to get braces because of concerns about side effects, but looking back now, I really think I made the right choice! If you’re like me and have been told since you were young that you should get orthodontic treatment, I recommend getting it!
