The doctor told me that minor swelling after under-eye fat repositioning could last until about one month, and once that exact period passed, almost all the swelling really disappeared and my under-eyes looked much cleaner. To give my honest review, the fat that made my under-eyes bulge has almost completely disappeared—nearly 100%!! I feel my dark circles improved by about 90%??? Even so, I’m satisfied with this level and think the result turned out really well. One tip: when getting under-eye fat repositioning, choose a place that preserves the aegyo-sal well. I’ve seen quite a few people say their aegyo-sal disappeared afterward. If you focus only on the under-eye fat and remove the aegyo-sal too, the eyes can look flat and the midface may look longer. During my surgery, the doctor preserved my existing aegyo-sal as much as possible while naturally smoothing only the under-eye fat, so I look much brighter and cleaner than before. Especially when I smile, the aegyo-sal is still there, so my original eye impression remains. In many ways, I really feel I made the right choice having surgery.
