[3 months after double jaw surgery] I’m happy that my face has more dimension after double jaw surgery

Because of my protruding jaw and malocclusion, my impression looked strong and I had problems chewing properly, so last March I had double jaw surgery + 2 types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw and chin) at Y Oral Surgery, and it’s been 3 months! Now I’m eating everything without restrictions.  But I avoid things that are too hard or tough, or cut them into small pieces before eating! More than discomfort from the surgery, I have more discomfort from the braces, like food getting stuck or the inside of my mouth getting scraped Since I see the swelling every day, I can’t tell if it’s going down. When I exercise and sweat a lot, it looks a little less swollen, but when I wake up after sleeping, it comes back again lol. Still, when I compared it with the photos taken at the hospital early after surgery, a lot of it had gone down. There’s still some puffiness left around my double chin and cheeks, but swelling is usually assessed from around 6 months, so I’m halfway there now lol. Sensation is gradually coming back too. Originally, I had no sensation at all around my chin, but now when I scratch it with my fingernail, it feels like an electric current, so it’s slowly coming back more and more. Since sensation is returning, I’m getting toothache from the orthodontic treatment... haha, I like it and dislike it at the same time lol. I had a cavity before surgery, so I went to a neighborhood dental clinic for a regular checkup, and the dentist was surprised, saying it was a surgery-first case but the surgery was done so naturally, and asking how a surgery-first case could turn out this well!  I already thought the surgery had gone well, but hearing the dentist say that too made me feel really good, and I was so grateful to Director Lee Seok-jae, who performed my surgery haha. People around me also say my impression has become much softer, so I’m extremely satisfied haha. I also like that my nose looks higher!
