It has been about a year since I had SMILE LASIK. Maybe because I am in my 30s, recovery took a very long time. Immediately after surgery, my dry eye was severe, so my vision did not improve quickly at first and stayed around 0.6–0.8. Then, after about two months, my vision improved dramatically. But I struggled a lot with dry eye until almost a year had passed… I am fine now! I had the consultation and surgery on the same day, but since eyes are sensitive organs, I think it is better to leave some time and schedule the surgery date later.
