It has been more than eight years, I think, but anyway I had surgery with Dr. Jeong Yeong-taek at the time. SMILE LASIK was not common then, and I chose him because I heard he performed corneal transplants. I am currently living very happily without glare or declining vision, seeing well without glasses. My astigmatism was so severe that I was an extremely poor-sighted person who needed astigmatism correction before I could even undergo SMILE LASIK. Before surgery, my vision was so bad that I wanted to see objects at performances or while traveling without glasses. Even contacts could not fully correct it, and even hard lenses did not give perfect vision; naturally, glasses only brought me to about 0.7. But I have still maintained 1.0 or better after surgery. If you are deliberating, I strongly recommend vision correction surgery because it changes your quality of life!

Orthodontic Reviews@ortho-reviewOct 12 Six years after LASIK, I wear glasses ^^
Still, I have no regrets. My corneas are thick enough that I could do it once more. Even if I went back, I think I would do it again. I didn’t want to spend all of my twenties wearing glasses I didn’t want. The money, effort, and time…
