My first double-eyelid surgery was done with the buried-suture method, but it gradually became an inner double eyelid, and later one side completely disappeared. Where did all that buried-suture work go??? lol On one side, my eyelashes also curled inward and kept poking me, so it was so uncomfortable. I felt like I really couldn't go on like that, so I had double-eyelid surgery again, and now it's been 6 months. During the consultation, I got estimates for epicanthoplasty, double-eyelid revision surgery, and ptosis correction together. I hadn't even thought about epicanthoplasty,,, but I really think it was a good decision not to do it. My friend said she gets eye discharge, tears, and pain from it. I thought, good thing I didn't do epicanthoplasty lol. Right now it's an inline crease, and on the side where I had ptosis correction, the swelling at the front hasn't gone down as much, but my eyes look a bit clearer, and the line isn't sausage-like either, so I like it.
