Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> I had an incisional revision surgery after 10 years! It’s exactly week 3 now :)
I felt that an inner-line, almost hidden double eyelid suited my face, so I told them that. The director said that if I was concerned about looking sharp, how about making the line a little rounder and more visible, and showed me the line he recommended... The recommended line was much better haha. I decided to leave it to the director and proceed with the line he designed. During surgery, I briefly went under sedation, then proceeded under local anesthesia while opening and closing my eyes. The director also said a lot of comforting things during the surgery haha. It hurt a little, but it was tolerable! I stopped by once the very next day for disinfection, and the director checked my progress. I had the stitches removed on day 7 after surgery, and he came to check again then too. The line at the inner corners of my eyes was slightly wavy? and he said it was because of swelling, then asked, “Would you like a swelling injection?” so I got a swelling injection too :) The only post-op photos I have are all with filtersㅠㅠ I’ll try to bring more proper photos at weeks 6 and 9 haha. I’m so moved because I think this will be my last double-eyelid surgery..!
