Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month update after revision rhinoplasty for a short upturned nose, columella and nasolabial angle correction — seems well corrected?

The first photo is before revision rhinoplasty for my short nose with columella and nasolabial angle correction, the second is two weeks after surgery, and the third and fourth are from one month after surgery. In my first-surgery review, I had surgery to look prettier, but my nose became short and lacked dimension. The tip looked upturned and my nostrils were very visible, exactly as I had asked them not to make it. I kept thinking I needed revision surgery, but postponed it because I was afraid it would go wrong again. I visited about four clinics for consultations, and one place honestly explained what could and could not be done instead of promising everything. I went in only for a consultation but ended up having surgery there. The clinic was Code, near Nonhyeon Station. At two weeks, there was still some early swelling, but I could visibly see more dimension around the columella and nasolabial angle. The bridge and tip also became much prettier, so I felt I had made the right choice. I had been especially troubled by my upturned tip and visible nostrils, but after correction my nostrils show less, which I am very happy about. For revision, I used costal cartilage at the tip. I worried that it might look unnatural like my first surgery, but at one month it is settling in so naturally that I feel reassured. I was very careful when choosing the clinic, and I am grateful that Dr. Park understood the problems with my original nose and reflected what I wanted in the design.
