Eye Surgery Reviews

Bravo Review

Upper canthoplasty may leave scars and reduce satisfaction, so it is best to consider it carefully. For my current eyes, they recommended raising the double-eyelid line by only about 1 mm and doing revision with the non-incisional method. Canthoplasty would not be done immediately and could be added later if needed. My eyelid-opening strength and skin thickness are average. Because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows is relatively small, it is difficult to make the line much larger. Due to my eye structure, the line tends to become covered again. Revision with the non-incisional method is possible, but it may descend again over time, and after my 40s I may need to consider incisional surgery or upper blepharoplasty. They said I have almost no epicanthal fold, differing from other clinics. If I want a truly open-eyed look, they suggested considering lifting rather than simple canthoplasty. Aftercare is covered for two years. The cost is about 990,000 won for non-incisional surgery, 1.76 million won for incisional surgery, and 550,000 won for canthoplasty. When I asked what else should be improved on my face, they said my chin is relatively prominent compared with my forehead and that the tip of my nose is round rather than the alae. They said to do only the eyes. I trust the conservative approach because it seems safer, but there probably will not be a dramatic change.
