Among the clinics I visited for facial contouring consultations, this one was the worst.. They charged a consultation fee of 30,000 won, but instead of tailoring the consultation to my face, the doctor only talked about the cortical osteotomy he liked.. the procedure that also appears on YouTube. I went because cortical osteotomy is needed for a frontal effect and they were said to be good at it, but he just talked about what he had been promoting on YouTube. Even that consultation was noticeably shorter than at other clinics. They perform cortical osteotomy around the mandibular angle as well, unlike other clinics. Since I have wisdom teeth on both sides, I said they would need to be extracted if they could cause a problem. I’m not sure whether they said extraction during plastic surgery here isn’t covered by insurance, but anyway, it was 1 million won per wisdom tooth, 2 million for both. Rotational shaving was 7 million won, for a total of 9 million. When I asked whether I could have them extracted at a dental clinic instead, they said that was okay, but then I would have to wait about six months before surgery. So I gave up on this clinic easily. I just wasted the consultation fee and excluded this clinic from my candidates.
