Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Day 2 review after cheekbone surgery…

Since I live outside the city, I took a train in that morning on the day of surgery. I was extremely scared at the clinic and even considered cancelling, but before I knew it, I was lying on the operating table. The anesthesiologist came in after attaching various things all over my body, and then everything went black. A nurse took me to the recovery room in a wheelchair. After that, I felt sick and uncomfortable because of the compression band, and my throat was completely hoarse from intubation. The cheekbone area itself did not hurt at all, but my throat hurt so terribly that I thought I was going to die T_T. I could not even speak… It felt like a terrible hangover, and having the discomfort on top of it made me want to cry while wondering how much prettier I would actually become from my cheekbones. Still, since I live far away, I took a taxi to the station and then the train home. I was honestly impressed with myself. After arriving home, I only slept under the effect of the medication. From around 6 p.m. until 9 a.m. the next day, I kept waking up and falling asleep, basically sleeping the whole time. When I woke up, my throat pain had eased a little, and I had become somewhat accustomed to the compression band, so I felt better. I took the train back to Seoul for an injection and dressing change, then returned home. There is not much swelling so far. I sent photos to my friends, and they all said, “You are less swollen than I expected.” My nose bled at first, then stopped after about three hours, with occasional bleeding rather than continuous bleeding. A little blood also came down the back of my throat. I bought and ate ice cream at the station, but ah, I really want to eat something delicious…
