Aside from cases where people say they started looking for a revision clinic immediately after removing the splint, has anyone lived normally with no problems in shape or function and then suddenly developed a problem two or three years later for no reason—whether a foreign-body sensation, inflammation, or a deviated columella? They would not provide aftercare for something like that either, right?
