Two-Week Review After Three-Part Facial Contouring (Cheekbones + Square Jaw + Chin)

Hello~ After only lurking in this community, I finally got to leave my own review two weeks after surgery >< I kept wondering when time would pass after surgery; each day felt slow and the period seemed long, but somehow two weeks have already passed, and now I can live somewhat like a normal person again? haha, so I’m writing about the process. To find a hospital for facial contouring surgery, I researched extensively and visited at least three places. After carefully considering safety and expertise above all, I chose [Clinic A] based first on the surgeon’s long experience and skill. During my consultation, they explained very professionally and clearly what was necessary for me and how my facial structure would change, rather than pushing sales, which made me trust them more. Before surgery, I had what people call a peanut-shaped face: prominent cheekbones and hollow cheeks, making my face look generally large. Taking photos was stressful, and hats didn’t suit me, so I never wore them. I made the major decision not to put it off any longer before getting older and underwent surgery. Until the day of surgery, I had so many worries and concerns: Was this really the right choice? What if I regretted having surgery? I had so many thoughts that I couldn’t sleep and became more nervous as the date approached. I’m sure people reading this who are awaiting surgery can relate completely—I understand that feeling so well! But on the actual surgery day, after hearing the final design consultation and instructions from the doctor and manager, it began to feel real. I thought, “No turning back now; I’m going straight ahead and trusting the doctor,” and surprisingly felt relieved. After surgery, for a week I repeatedly ate porridge, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, yogurt, liquid foods, water, and eggs, disinfected inside my mouth carefully, walked for one to two hours every day, applied cold packs, and followed the hospital’s instructions like an AI. haha. After that tedious week, in the second week I could definitely open my mouth a little better. I was still careful and eating the same foods, but as I went to the hospital for swelling treatments and walked around diligently, the swelling inside my mouth seemed to settle more. Although it had only been two weeks, there were even moments when I forgot I had surgery. That means daily life has become freer and more comfortable, haha. At present, the stitches by my sideburns and the tape on my chin have been removed, and only the stitches inside my mouth remain. They say once those are removed, all the stitches on my body will be gone, making it much easier to eat and allowing the swelling to subside further. It’s still too soon to talk about the final results, but I’m looking forward to what comes next. People like me may have many worries and feel as though time will never pass before surgery, but I believe we too will eventually feel, just like those who had surgery months ago, that we made the right decision. I’ll keep moving diligently, being careful with food, and working toward a good result~ haha.
