It has already been a month since my three-part facial contouring surgery!! Time really flies, lol. Before surgery, I thought my face would be almost settled after a month, but more residual swelling remains than I expected. During the first week, my face was so swollen that I wondered when it would go down, but looking now, it has definitely decreased a lot. The swelling around my cheeks and under my chin has especially improved compared with the beginning, and I feel my facial line is gradually showing. However, my face is still a little swollen when I wake up and seems to go down a bit by afternoon, lol. So it still looks slightly different every day. At first, opening my mouth and eating were difficult, but now it is much more comfortable. Yawning or opening wide still feels a little tight, so I am being careful. My sensation is not exactly the same as before surgery either; there is still slight numbness around my jaw, but it seems to be improving over time. Since it has only been a month, people around me have started saying my face looks slimmer, which is fascinating, lol. I see my face every day, so I cannot tell a huge difference, but comparing photos, there definitely seems to be one. I especially like how the jawline looks smoother from the front. However, I do not want to think this is the final result because residual swelling remains. I am just waiting patiently, lol. I worried a lot before surgery, but after recovering this far, I still think it was a good decision. I am not fully recovered yet, but comparing photos with the first week, my face has changed a lot, and it is fun to see, lol. I am most curious how the residual swelling will decrease and how my facial line will settle by around three months. For now, I am recovering without overdoing it and following the hospital's precautions carefully!! At one month, it seems right to view this as a swelling-recovery process rather than judge the result, haha.
