Nose Surgery Reviews

Successful reconstruction of a contracted nose after multiple revisions at [Clinic A]

Inflammation developed immediately after my second rhinoplasty, and I lived with an avatar-like nose for 10 months. Feeling that I could not continue any longer, I had the implant removed. After removal, the bridge disappeared completely and collapsed, and contracture progressed rapidly. Reconstruction was essential, but I had to wait six months before surgery, so I researched many hospitals, visited them, and had consultations. After consulting at [Clinic A], I became convinced that I should have it done there. I must have looked through thousands of rhinoplasty reviews, and after watching all of Dr. Seo Seung-jo's surgical reviews and YouTube videos, I decided because I felt he had excellent aesthetic judgment. The doctor, the desk staff, and the coordinator were all so kind and made me feel comfortable. After my first and second surgeries, I had severe bruising and extreme swelling, but at [Clinic A] I had no bruising at all immediately after surgery and barely any swelling. I realized that bruising really depends on having surgery performed by someone highly skilled, and although I expected significant swelling because of the severe contracture and scar-tissue adhesions, I barely swelled and was very satisfied. I was worried because my nose looked thick after the splint was removed, but the side profile is very natural and satisfying. The collapsed bridge was restored, and although I said I disliked pointed noses and asked for a rounded finish, it turned out just as I wanted. I had the entire procedure done with autologous costal cartilage, and although I expected severe rib pain, it hurt less than I thought.
