Nose Surgery Reviews

After dissolving all my Hyko

When I first had Hyko, I was genuinely satisfied and thought it looked pretty, but... I was definitely told the threads wouldn’t dissolve. Maybe it was a limitation of the procedure, but as time passed, I felt the shape spreading unattractively and collapsing... Looking at photos from right after the procedure and then seeing myself in the mirror made me feel oddly unattractive and upset I considered having Hyko again, but I thought, if I’m going to keep getting procedures forever, I might as well just go all in and have autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty.. so I had it done at [Clinic A] with autologous rib cartilage, lol. To explain my long struggle with my nose~ I hated that it was too large for my face. It was large overall, and the bridge and nostrils were wide too, I suppose...? But even if I had rhinoplasty, I was worried because the size of my nose itself was my complex, and I was afraid that raising the bridge would make me look too masculine That was my biggest concern, but since [Clinic A] is a private clinic, perhaps, the doctor consulted very carefully and understood my concerns well, so I decided to have surgery ♥♥ Dr. Kim Hyeong-taek is truly the best. Since I was making a big commitment, I wanted to finish everything in one go, so I had autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty. I also had the nasal tip muscles removed, alar excision, and alar reduction because of my wide... haha, nostrils. Honestly, I had seen so many people say that rhinoplasty after Hyko takes longer to recover and is more complicated, so I was extremely worried even while lying on the cold operating table. Before I entered the operating room, I was shaking so much that the coordinator held my hand tightly and told me to trust the doctor... haha. The rib-harvest site recovered enough for light daily activities after about two days. The scar is tiny too—about the size of a fingernail? They made such a small incision that it’s barely noticeable, lol. Having cotton packed in my nose for a day was uncomfortable, but it didn’t hurt. Since passing three months after rhinoplasty, my nose has felt completely like my own, so I’m enjoying taking selfies these days haha. I think whether rhinoplasty is difficult after Hyko depends on the individual clinic and individual case. If you’re looking into rhinoplasty after Hyko or autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty like me, research carefully and I hope you have your surgery safely
