It is my Nth revision rhinoplasty, so I am extremely worried and have even been deliberating whether to just live with it as it is T_T
Until lying down on the operating table for the revision surgery, I kept thinking, “What if it goes wrong again?”..
Still, I wanted to look into my options, so I went for a consultation T_T
I wrote down the surgical method, after-service standards, after-service period, recommended shape, and anesthesia method in advance. They answered every question, so I left feeling that I had organized my thoughts fairly well haha.
Oh, and when I arrived, I was surprised that this clinic had so many foreign patients. I was not eavesdropping, but I happened to hear it while writing my chart: a beautiful, actress-like Caucasian model had come all the way to Korea for philtrum reduction and revision rhinoplasty. She said she came after seeing it on Instagram and ChatGPT lol.
On another note, I have severe anxiety about safety, so I get very scared every time I lie on the operating table. The part I hate most is the time when I do not know whether the anesthesia injection has gone in or when it will take effect T_T
But this clinic has a female anesthesiology specialist as a director, so I think that will reassure me. Just knowing that made me feel a little more at ease.
They did give me confidence and told me not to worry, but I have heard so many times that a revision clinic must be chosen carefully, so I still have not made up my mind completely.
I plan to consult one more place before deciding. I really hope it goes well this time T_T
